The Ventura County Potter's GuildMost of the Ventura Harbor shops run special discounts on Shop Small Saturday. But that just doesn't feel like enough of an incentive for organizers of the event. So, they added a few more enticements. For example, they plan on giving away gift cards to use at various Village businesses between 1 pm and 4 pm on the day of the event. Stop by the Visitor's Booth when you get there to find out how.
Get the kids involved in the fun by joining the scavenger hunt. Pick up a scavenger hunt sheet at the Visitor's Booth. Mark off everything on the sheet. Turn it in for a free seal sticker.
Snow? At the harbor? In California? Yes! Between 1 pm and 3 pm, Ventura Harbor predicts a landmark snowfall right on the promenade. You won't want to miss it!
Finally, enjoy several festive photo-ops set up around the village. They are all beach-themed, too, of course. And enjoy live entertainment courtesy of the musical group The Gamble between 1 pm and 3pm.
Ventura Harbor Parking
Usually, you must pay for parking if you plan on staying for longer than 30 minutes at the Village. But on Shop Small Saturday, park for free all day long. That gives you a little extra spending money while you explore what the Village has to offer.
