It would be fun to know how many days I had an apple and still had to go see the Dr that same day. I think on average, over the past 6 years, I've probably seen upwards of 10 Drs each year not counting dentists and eye Drs.
Personally I think heredity has more to do with our health than "the experts" give it credit.

My personal example is that on one day in 2011 any Dr would have told you I was the picture of health. That is when I had my FIRST heart attack. I didn't have an ounce of fat me and I was full of vim & vigor. In fact my wife reminded me that I had washed all three of our cars by hand that day. Later that evening I thought I had indigestion but when it would not let up I drove to the emergency room around 4:00 AM (no elephant on my chest, no arm pain, just symptoms of heartburn).
I know I'm rambling on but my point is don't trust in old wives tales or even some of the "pop" medicine you read on FB or Pinterest. See your Dr regularly and don't count on apples to keep your Dr away.
