The Right Number of Fingers and Toes

I'm thankful I have ten fingers and toes. I remember a few school woodshop teachers that were missing fingers. I do have one pinky finger that had a large playhouse dropped on it and now it has a bend to it but it still works.

If you have/had children in your home you probably had a drawing like this on your fridge over the Thanksgiving holiday. It may even had been the first sign of artistic talent (or lack of) that your child showed. Wouldn't it have been fun to see Pablo Picasso's 1st turkey drawing? 🙃

My wife has saved a lot of Timmothy and Tina's early artwork so I will have to ask what we have when I get home this evening.

Do you enjoy the cartoons written by my son (Timmothy N. Timm) which I use as a springboard to write my daily posts? His strip, Titus & Philemon, has run in two newspapers for years as well as being printed in my blog every day. Titus & Philemon (pronounced Phi - Lee -Man) are guinea pigs. Their owner is Joe. Interesting stuff.  Never realized, or remembered more likely, that the turkey drawings are simply a tracing of the hand.  Bob, have a very nice Turkey Day.  And remember left overs usually better so no need to stuff on Thursday.  lol   m

I agree with you Mark Don McInnes, Sandpoint-Idaho . My wife is always very creative with the left-overs. I especially like the open face turkey sandwiches smothered in gravy.

I do remember seeing hand-turkey drawings in the past although I don't remember when.

Supposedly this is a turkey drawing by Picasso. Not as crazy as we might expect.
