It's Here... Winter!

They have been predicting this snowfall for 3 days... which is why I figured it would not happen. Chalk one up for the local weather guessers, they got one right. I love the way the falling snowflakes light up with the flash. Here are a few more.

It currently is about 27 degrees out so this snow may stay or it may melt away. If it stays it will be compacted by many more snows on top of it and it will sit there on the bottom until April.

This is an extra post for me today so if you are looking for Timmothy Timm's comic strip, Titus & Philemon it's coming. I was set back an hour due to the need to shovel at home earlier this morning.

Do you enjoy the cartoons written by my son (Timmothy N. Timm) which I use as a springboard to write my daily posts? His strip, Titus & Philemon, has run in two newspapers for years as well as being printed in my blog every day. Titus & Philemon (pronounced Phi - Lee -Man) are guinea pigs. Their owner is Joe. Timmothy has never repeated a joke/comic strip in the 12 years he has been writing it. He has never copied another strip, such as Peanuts or Garfield. That fresh snow is very pretty, Bob... but I prefer seeing it in photos and I could do without 27 degree temperature. It's 54 degrees in Charlotte right now and that is plenty cold for me!

I always did love snow when it was falling. I hate snow once it is on the ground and causing accidents on the roads...lol

Very true Jeffrey DiMuria 321.223.6253 Waves Realty . It's almost comical here as we have a lot of people from the Minot Air Force base who have never seen snow before much less drive on it.

Depends on who you talk to Joan Cox but I think the REAL amount was about 3". The weather folks say 6 to 8 inches but I say no way.
