Buyer & Seller Confessions
The Things We Don’t Talk About Enough
In this industry, it's all about more than just transactions; it's about the relationships and support we provide throughout the journey. Whether you're buying or selling, having someone to lean on makes all the difference.
After all these years in real estate, I’ve learned that it’s never just the houses that make this business interesting-it’s the people. The questions, the hesitations, the proud moments, the nerves, the excitement, and yes…the confessions.
There are things buyers and sellers feel but don’t always say out loud. And those moments are where the real stories begin.
I’ve met buyers who walk into a home, fall in love instantly, and you can see it-eyes wide, pulse racing, already picturing the sofa in the living room. Then… a few hours later, the panic sets in.

“Are we doing the right thing?”
Real estate is the only business where you can go from dream home to deep doubt in the time it takes to find a parking spot.
And sellers? Many believe their avocado-green refrigerator is “retro chic,” the pink bathroom tile is “coming back,” and that wallpaper “has personality.”

And you know what? They’re not wrong-every home has its own charm.
But buyers have their own opinions … and they do not always match. Sellers go through their own version of this-nerves before showings, excitement after feedback, confusion when every buyer wants something different. It’s personal. It always is.
So, here’s my confession:
I think these feelings are normal. Healthy. Human. If you’re wondering, second-guessing, or even laughing at the absurdity of it all… you’re right where most people are.
Real estate is not just buying or selling. It’s stepping into the next chapter of your life. And sometimes that means a little handholding, a little honesty, and a whole lot of understanding.

That’s what makes every day a bit exciting. That’s what keeps me loving this business.
And if you’re in the middle of your own “confession,” my phone is always on.
No judgment. Just guidance.
