The Kind of Clients Who Stay With You Forever
Every now and then in this business, someone comes along who reminds you exactly why you do what you do. For me, Liz and her family are that reminder.
We’ve worked together for years—buying, selling, investing, even building out a successful Airbnb portfolio that they manage beautifully on their own. They came to me through one of my dearest longtime clients and from the very beginning, they’ve been an absolute joy. Loyal, thoughtful, kind…the kind of clients who feel more like friends you get to help navigate big life moments.
What makes working with them so special isn’t just the number of transactions we’ve done together. It’s the trust. The deep, unwavering trust that lets us navigate even the bumpiest roads with confidence that we’re all moving toward the same goal. Their most recent sale was—let’s just say—not for the faint of heart. It was complex, emotional and full of curveballs… the kind of transaction where trust isn’t just helpful, it’s essential.
And they gave me that trust, fully and without hesitation.
When someone hands you that level of confidence in your knowledge, experience, and judgment, it changes everything. It allows you to advocate fiercely, communicate clearly, and stay steady even when the process feels like a roller coaster. It makes the hard days easier and the victories that much sweeter.
After every Closing, Liz and I make it a tradition to celebrate with dinner or wine and appetizers—we’re both total foodies and genuinely love sharing a great meal together. This time, I took her to Catalina Kitchen, one of Ray’s and my go-to spots in the historic Elizabeth neighborhood. We had a wonderful evening, wrapped things up with big hugs and even made a pact to start weight-walking together once I got back from Portugal!

I then received the handwritten note you see above, and it just stopped me in my tracks. Those few lines on paper captured exactly why relationships like this mean so much to me. Real estate is about homes, yes… but more than that, it’s about people, connection and being a trusted constant in someone’s biggest life transitions.
Liz and her family are the kind of clients who make this career not just rewarding, but deeply meaningful. I’m grateful for every chapter we’ve shared and I’m so very honored to be the one they choose to have in their corner.
Here’s to many more years, many more keys exchanged and many more moments that make this journey so special.
A big thank you to Lynn B. Friedman CRS Atlanta, GA 404-617-6375 for hosting November's challenge. I still have a LOT of readin' to do!
