Refresh Your Long Island Space with Simple Changes

By
Real Estate Agent with The Top Team @ Charles Rutenberg Realty 255 Executive Dr, Plainview NY 11803

Did you ever look at a room in your home and think, "I need to change it up a little"? A few small tweaks can make a big difference and keep it budget friendly.

Look At Your Space:

Take a good look at the room. Identify focal points, traffic flow, and pieces you want to keep or move.

Imagine the Result:

Picture the vibe you’re going for. Is it cozy, organized, vibrant? Design apps can help.

Try New Layouts:

Rearrange your furniture creatively. Explore balance and symmetry to see what feels best.

Mix & Match:

Get creative by pulling decor from other rooms. Those vibrant pillows can brighten your couch.

Warmth Through Decor:

Incorporate decor with personality to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Finishing Touches:

Experiment with a pop of color in a rug, some artwork, a mirror, new lighting, or a touch of greenery. You’ll enjoy the change

Sometimes, a small refresh is all we need. Small changes can make a world of difference visually as well as mood lifting. Now, admire your refreshed room!

These are really good tips!  It doesn't take much to refresh a space within a home, and it is good to refresh the spaces every so often!

Good morning, Sheila and Larry... this is exactly what we do when we help stage homes for sale with what the sellers already have in their homes. But why wait till you list?

Lawrence "Larry" & Sheila Agranoff. Cell: 631-805-4400   Doing it in a smaller space is one thing, being asked to do it in a larger room with heavier furniture can hurt and then you look after a few long hours and nothing changed.

Larry & Sheila, I love this! Sometimes we think a full renovation is the only way to get a new feel — but a fresh layout, a pop of color, or swapping décor from another room can completely transform a space. 🏡✨

Your tips make the process feel fun and approachable for every homeowner. Nothing beats that “Wow — this looks so much better!” moment without spending a fortune.

A refreshed home truly can refresh our mood, too!

With the use of AI you can take a photo and move furniture around and see what it will look like before you actually do any heavy lifting.

Oh, this is so true! Most people don't think of moving a piece of furniture or artwork from one room to another. It really can make you feel like you've had a room makeover when you make even the tiniest of changes. Great advice, Larry & Sheila!
