I'm not so sure Joe has this one right. I like summer as a season over-all BUT it's hard to beat the Christmas spirit of giving and joy. Here is one table in my office today.

It's obvious I like the Christmas season and decorating for it. That being said Summer lasts longer (not much in North Dakota) and it brings my favorite season, camping.

That is a kind neighbor Roy Kelley , be sure to thank them. In the 20+ years I've lived in my home I have cleared the snow for others and yet I have not received a single thank you.
I did thank the young lady who did the shoveling this morning. She is at the top of my list of kind neighbors. She commented that her dogs love the snow.
We have a weather alert for icy conditions this evening.
Even up here we dread ice alerts Roy Kelley . NOBODY knows how to drive on ice and four wheel drive makes little to no difference on ice. When a two ton machine hits the ice it's going to go where it wants to and not where the driver thinks it should go.
Good morning Bob. The north owns us, weather and all, because of grandkids. The warmer weather of the south is favored by the wife with the exception of Christmas when our home becomes over decorated and snow on the ground is acceptable. Enjoy your day and keep Timmothy's work coming our way.

For Floridians, Christmas is the best time of year. We can head outside and enjoy the perfect weather. No hurricanes or storms coming. Perfect!

Good morning, Bob... there really is nothing quite like the Christmas season. That being said, I'll admit that I decorate my home for each season and each holiday.

We are pretty good at that as well Nina Hollander, Broker . Christmas, Easter, Valentines day, and Thanksgiving are our favorite decorating holidays. St Patrick's day and Halloween get a little decorating but nothing compared to the others.
Bob "RealMan" Timm I do a lot for Halloween. Then there's Memorial Day to July 4th season and summer season.
I forgot about the 4th and Memorial Day Nina Hollander, Broker . Thanks for the reminder. We put out a lot of flags on those days but not much more than that.
Bob "RealMan" Timm I have coffee mugs for each season and holiday, I have kitchen towels for each season and holiday... and then, there are the kitchen mats and the front door mats, etc., etc. And the wreaths on the front door as well for each season and holiday.

That is for sure Carol Williams "the reason for the season". And a few of us realize that if it were not for the cross there would be no reason for this season.
I enjoy seeing how people decorate for the holidays. I'm more of a minimalist with it since I soon get tired of it and want to pack it up as soon as the holidays wrap up.

My mother was that way as well Kelly McGovern . Even though she went all out for Christmas the day after it all disappeared. In my house we observe The Twelve Days Of Christmas which actually starts on Christmas day.
