The 2025 NAR Report Just Dropped… and It’s a Big Deal
Every year, I look forward to the National Association of REALTORS® report because it gives us a clear picture of what buyers and sellers are really choosing—not just what the headlines say. And this year, the numbers made me smile. With a little help from LabCoat Agents as well, I wanted to share the findings:
Weighing in at the highest percentage ever, A record 91% of home sellers worked with an agent in 2025.

Despite the inflammatory headlines over the past many months, I think we've received a pretty clear message from our client base, sphere of influence, and the general consumer:
Experience matters.
Guidance matters.
Real relationships matter more than ever
Despite all the new tools and technology, AI, etc., people still want someone they trust walking with them through one of the biggest moments of their lives. Not shortcuts. Not guesswork. Real support, clear communication, and steady hands.
What this tells me is that real estate isn’t drifting away from connection—it’s leaning right into it.
As a consumer, gravitate to the agents that have adapted, communicated, kept learning -- and those that bring real value to the table. Talk to the agents that answer their phones, texts, and emails. Communication teamed with skill - that’s the heart of real estate work, and honestly, it’s what makes it worth doing.
