Today’s the day. I have to leave.

I’ve been relaxing in the Bahamas all week, a vacation I’ve been looking forward to since May. We spent a lot of time resting, unwinding, and regrouping by the poolside and at the beach. Just as we figured out the layout of this place and started to feel like it was our new home, it’s time to leave and return to the reality of Massachusetts. I’m not looking forward to the winter temperatures of 20°F.

I am grateful for the ability and opportunity to travel and escape.
I am grateful for a wonderful companion who is my best friend, sharing these moments with me.
I’m grateful to return to my business with renewed energy.

Thank you Baha Mar Hyatt for the wonderful accommodations, water park, 15 acres of beachfront, 6 pools, 45 delicious restaurants and (unlucky) casino. Till next time!!

I’m recharged and ready to get back to work!

We all need this. Life is so short and our profession so fast-paced and all consuming. I was in St. Augustine, Florida, last month for only a couple of days, and then drove down the Florida coast. What a wonderful stress reliever and mental reset to just get away and let things at the office fade away, even if only for a short time. Congratulations on your trip!

There were FIVE cruise ships at dock when we ventured to the downtown area. What a mad house! Needless to say we didn't stay long and went straight back to the resort.
