The More They Stay The Same!
I retired from the messy game of real estate in 2012. I've been retired ever since. Well, I did build a house and now that I'm done with that, I am kinda busy with some blogging and vlogging endeavors. Oh, and I do consultations from time to time with anyone expressing an interest in retiring overseas... or expatriating. Other than that, I'm pretty much retired!
I come back to Active Rain on occasion out of curiosity, to see how things are going, and I've noticed that for the last 13 years, I'm still the number 6th rank blogger in the state of Mississippi. Dang, I lost a spot! But I'm still number #1 in Lee County!
I haven't penned an Active Rain blog for so long, I almost forgot how to log on, but yet I'm still way out front in the blogging effort. And that leads me to the question on whether blogging is a dying art, or maybe agents are just too busy to promote themselves. Maybe it's this platform? Or maybe all the successful agent bloggers are out there blogging on their own WordPress site.
Whatever the case may be, I'll bet I can disappear for another 12 years and I'll still be the number #1 blogger in Lee Co. Mississippi. Hey, being #1 and $2.50 these days will get me a good cup of coffee in Guam. Cream is extra.
