Saturday & I'm Still Playing With Nano Banana!

I started playing around with Nano Banana Gemini ai yesterday with photos I took last year at an old log cabin. Well, I'm still having fun playing around and being creative.  I am using the same photograph, I used yesterday, where ghosts were added. Today this is what I asked for:

turn this old log cabin into the Elf's house deep in the forest with Christmas Trees, snow, elf's building a snowman, Reindeer catching snowflakes on their tongue, tools for Santa's workshop getting ready for Christmas.

I am learning I can think outside the box and be creative using my old photographs by transforming them into something fresh & new, timely and/or seasonal, and completely different!

******************************************************************
And for my next idea that came into my head, here's what I asked:

Now I am asking for Santa Claus to be relaxing in his sled outdoors drinking a cup of hot cocoa with his elf' having a snowball fight and the 8 reindeer are being playful. Lots of snow, evening, snowflakes and the moon is in the cerulean sky

What do you think of this one? I love it! Praful Thakkar - how can I turn this image into a Christmas Card? Do you have any ideas? Maybe Sharon Tara knows? Does anyone know? I'm beginning to catch the Christmas spirit! Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

Hi Patricia,

I'm glad to see you're having fun with the Banana. The possibilities are endless, aren't they?  I'm not quite sure what you're asking about turning it into a Christmas card, but if you add: Write "Happy Holidays" (or whatever you want) in your prompt, it will add that to the image. You also have to tell it where to place the text.

I believe a company a company like Vista Print could do that for you.

Carol Williams - I buy Christmas Cards. I wonder if there is a way to make my own Christmas cards using Nano Banana Gemini ai and printing them with stock paper to fold and put into an envelope with my own images instead of other standard photos cards I still purchase.

Nano Banana has a watermark star in the lower right corner of any image generated there. Not all programs do that, but I think it's a good idea.

Good morning Patricia. Amazing how AI, properly used, is unleashing the creative juices that people have had locked up for so long. You may have me thinking of learning more. Thanks! Enjoy your day.

Good morning, Patricia... glad you are having fun. Until I retire I don't have enough hours in my day for this kind of fun, I'm afraid. And even if I did I don't think I'd be as good at it as you... I'd probably think this was not fun for me.

Once I have the photo I want for my Christmas cards, I go to Snapfish and make the card there.

If you want to print your own at home you should purchase card stock paper that has the fold in the middle. I haven't printed my own cards at home in many years and don't remember the specifics of getting both front and back to print all at once. Using some site or app I would assume. Again I don't remember. Easier for me to just create on Snapfish or Shutterfly. I believe CVS and Walgreens do card printing too.

Hi Sharon Tara

It's good to hear from you! You have given me enough information that I think I can accomplish what I want to do. I do have a very big HP Printer, and it gives me the option to print on both sides. Plus, I do recall seeing stock paper at Office Depot/Max but never had any reason in the past to buy it.

Thank you, so much! You're the best!!!

Patricia Feager   nice job with the Christmas. Seems to me that if you were to take it to a Staples, they would have the stock and machinery to make a Card out of that but maybe get the inside as well?

I used to get prepared Christmas thoughts printed there and use them on the face page of the calendars I mailed out.

Ed Silva, 203-206-0754 - Thank you! All the support you give to me and others is greatly appreciated. Staples moved out of my local area. But I know where one is further away. I'll check localy with Office Depot/Max and then branch out if I need to.

I am so thankful Praful Thakkar had that Zoom Session. Even though I wasn't able to attend, I appreciated the ones who did and completed their assignments. That's how I learned!

I'm learning second hand information can be very reliable too!

Hi Patricia- it's addictive, isn't it?!   I took a photo of Larry and me, asked Gemini (I think it was Gemini) to add winter scarves and snow falling. Then added Merry Christmas and got  a Merry Christmas GIF.
