KNOW WHAT U-R TALKING ABOUT (phony or real)?

In the social mode, we can share, express, laugh out loud, share opinions, plans, dreams & even accomplishments past, present & future & much leeway is given under the umbrella of "getting to know you" & "you know me". It's fun, it promotes transparency & even can encourage, give cause for pause (reflections) too. Let's shift to those that speak with ignorant authority or are driven to do so by strong, opinionated beliefs, where we can cause personal harm as well as harm to others. We may know them as domineering tyrants, bullies & dictators

you either know or do not know

KNOW IT ALL

Here is where it can get dicey, risk embarrassment, humiliation, & inadvertently cause harm to others & also dumb yourself down from the irresponsible use of your ego proclaiming & stating an answer for everything. Know it all type people

HOW YOU SHARE

Choose your words when sharing a strong position such as religion or politics. Wanting to know more & inviting someone into conversation in the guise of exploring or searching for answers is good. Role reverse to be more effective too

WHAT WE ARE REALLY UP AGAINST

Everyone, with no exceptions, when created & then sent to earth (birthed) was given & has these four things: 1. Common sense. 2. Reasoning. 3. Logic. 4. Intuition.  I have no argument with you & here's why: Your personal truths are your own 

USE or LOSE

Like a muscle grouping, the more you use it, the more it produces. Simple as that. Keep yourself healthy & you get health returns. Same with safety, security, prosperity in other words, invest & you get a return. Keep investing & this happens

YOUR SKILLS BANK

Becomes firmly developed. This is the system. Fail to use what you have, it not only remains weak & undeveloped, but atrophies making it hard to call on it. It gets even worse too. At some point, it stagnates, reduces making you dumb. So, you see, there are people who do not use their logic, reason, intuition & common-sense banks. They forget the Universal rule; what was given, must be given back

YEARS of REPETITION

When repeat certain behaviors in the trade, & educational worlds, you become a professional, an expert or even a master of the subject matter. We call it degreed, credentialed, expert, & as a result, you have an extremely high credibility rating. What we don't know is how good you wield it or the results from practicing it

SPECIALIST

You can correctly tag yourself as a specialist but then you have to prove it out while exuding confidence, savvy, know-how & results. Go for it! However, it really takes off when other people at large designate YOU as a specialist & people readily accept that word of mouth (or they see it) because you are. How powerful is that? 

TEST THE TITLE OF THE POSTING

We all have met people who read script, stumble & mumble & give no obvious conclusion nor are they interesting, inviting & remain boring too. For those PHD's out there, you are excluded as you went into a world of your own & peers. For the lesser, opinionated, braggadocios individuals, who speak & say nothing, we see U!

TRUE STORY: I go to see a chiropractor with good reviews. It is a father & son business. They nudged me to the son who proceeded to talk his head off, not answer my questions & when I became insistent, finally responds, has me sit up straight, & proceeds to treat my neck by snap & jerking it. Here is the epilog: This kid doesn't want to be his father's son or in this business & is being forced plus has no firsthand knowledge & is hurting & harming people all from his lack of NOT KNOWING or CARING TO KNOW. I'm a chiropractor! Really?

TRUE CONTRAST STORY: I want to go see this great surgeon who does knee, hip & joint work & it takes 3 months to get an appointment. I ask about this from people who have used him. They reply he is the best & it takes that long PLUS even longer to get the agreed upon treatments (surgery) The guy knows his stuff! People C it

BE A PHONY or BE REAL

Every industry, profession, business, sport or services has people who are green, just starting out, with the right intentions wanting to make that their living & work with trainers, on probation, practice humility while they learn. Eventually they will rise to acceptable, proficient, ownership, & mastery level. Be this or don't be at all

Hello Richie... there's a reason I keep a relatively low profile on social media... and the day I retire I will just about disappear. I do not ever jump into conversations on social media about politics, religion, other people, etc. Mostly, I suppose it's because I think my viewpoints are no one's business and because I really don't care what most people think.

Richie, this is a thoughtful reflection on the difference between real knowledge and assumed authority.
