Happy National Pastry Day ActiveRain

Every year on December 9th, and this year on Tuesday December 9, 2025, we celebrate unofficial Happy National Pastry Day to encourage and enjoy delicious Pastries. Pastries can be traced as far back as the ancient Mediterranean where they had almost paper-thin, multilayered baklava and Phyllo dough.

French and Italian Renaissance chefs eventually perfected the puff and choux pastries while 17th and 18th-century chefs brought new recipes to the table.

Have fun and enjoy the various delicious pastry festivities on Happy National Pastry Day.

I want to wish to everyone at Active Rain community a Happy National Pastry Day 2025.

I’m always learning about new  National ___ Day So often, I think I should have a tally that I keep somewhere lol.
