I am excited to be posting my first blog on active rain! I want you all to know how professional this site looks and the vital information that is posted on it is so informative to todays daily life. We can gain so much from taking time to read the blogs of the many professionals who are listed on this site.

Thank you to the founder of active rain for giving me this opportunity to learn from others and to share with others each day.

I live in beautiful Knoxville, Tn. and have lived here for a few years. Don't be fooled by that though. I am a native Floridian and proud of it! I miss my home so much but at this time in my life this is where I am supposed to be with my two girls who are in college.

I started my own business 11 years ago part time and then went full time as a mobile closing agent for home loans. Each loan is new and each customer is new. It is enjoyable!

I will talk more in the next day or so about life and another New Day! Misti

Tennessee is beautiful and does not have a state tax, or at least did not years ago. When my sons were small, several friends/their families and me & my family would head to Lake Cherokee in Morristown which is a beautiful lake. At that time, there was not a lot of development on it and it was so pristine. We found an island that we would hang out on sunning and the kids & guys fishing. Then, back to the cabins for dinner. Lots of fun, some good memories.
