Targeting Listings - Foreclosures - Help

By
Real Estate Agent with California Housing Realty

This is probably a subject that has been beat to death.  However, I am in serious need of some help in finding out how to obtain foreclosure listings....even just one.  I am in the Riverside, Calif. area and do not expect my competitors to respond positively.  However, for those that do respond and are kind enough to spend a minute responding to this blog, I thank you in advance.  You will find I am a gracious person and will go out of my way to assist you in anyway I can.

I am new to this activerain network and not sure if this cry for help is appropriate in this arena but from what little I have read so far, I am sure comments will follow....both positive and negative.  If negative, I hope it's constructive in some way.

If you have read this far again I say thanks.

Cheers everyone and may prosperity be with you.

From what Im finding out it is paying your dues and who you know at the banks and lending institutions. Its a process that takes a while and there is no shortcut other than from the bottom up where Im starting slowly from.

One thing that deters me from getting into REO listings is the costs of maintaining or repairing them them out of my own pocket until the lender reimburses the listing agents.
