The Christmas Tree Tells the Story
The Christmas tree has been so common in our society and its evolution dates back many years and to Europe or the Middle East depending on which story one chooses to believe, presuming one even cares.

Our trees have become the memories of the experiences together like mementoes from vacations and the photo gifts that were made into decorations from the young children in our life over the years.
The nieces and nephews, my wife's children and the grandchildren as well.
Our tree is a testimonial to all the years together. To look at an ornament while putting them on the tree, while they are on the tree or when we take them down in January.
Each year brings new memories to add, and this year was no different.
I recently received a new gift. While it was sent as a reminder of a Zoom call, it carried a far deeper message when one looks at it.
Since 2017, I have engaged with people on ActiveRain. I have had the great opportunity to meet people that, were it not for the blog platform, I would possibly not know and some of these are as close as 20 miles, like George Souto .
When on vacations, I would reach out to members as well, so I do have special thoughts when I see the ornament that shows the Grand Canyon, as I also got to visit with Anna "Banana" Kruchten.
I have an ornament from Noth Carolina, yes, I had coffee with Debe Maxwell, CRS and Nina Hollander, Broker
Can't even begin to enumerate the faces I laughed with when attending the Rain Camps., and the list goes on.
The Chicken, represents the Zoom call offered by Wanda Kubat-Nerdin - Wanda Can! where she shared that the rubber chicken is one of Utah's greatest gifts to the world. I can squeeze it, and it will make a sound. Probably far different than one Wanda might make if I were to greet her in a hug of recognition.
Our tree has a lot of fond memories, and the chicken, although somewhat easy to ignore, represents almost 20 years of interaction with some of the finest real estate professionals in the country and by name recognition a smile to my face as well.
This is an 'Aha' moment that will stay with me as long as I can put up our tree, and even after as well. It is also, a post for the December Challenge hosted by Lew Corcoran and Patricia Feager .
