There's a new restaurant on Restaurant Row (better known as Belt Line Road) in Addison, TX. Al-Amir, a Lebanese restaurant and club opened at 3885 Belt Line Road a couple months ago. The original Al-Amir at 7402 Greenville Avenue in Dallas is still open.
Out of the blue, I got a call from Sandy Moses, the marketing director for the new Addison location. She called to thank me for information she found useful that I had posted to Active Rain and to Localism about Addison's top companies, and she invited me and a friend to come by for the lunch buffet.
Last Thursday, I took Sandy up on her offer. The food was fabulous! You've got to try the lemon rice soup if you get there. Everything on the buffet was fresh and even a vegetarian won't leave hungry.
In addition to the main dining area, they have two private rooms, one for up to 20, the other could comfortably seat at least 40. In the evenings, there is entertainment and you can smoke a hookah.
Al-Amir is open Monday through Friday, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 2:00 am, and on the weekends from 5:00 pm to 2:00 am. Stop by and check out one of Addison's newest eateries!
