I am happy to see this although I don't know if .50 in New York will make much of a difference. Hawaii has the right Idea with a 2.00 increase. Ohio is ridiculous at only $11.

Thanks for the Info.

Hello Gary and I can remember way back in the 60's I made $1.05 per hour at my first job.  Good for people now.

Gary Frimann CRS, GRI, SRES, ABR, SFR the almost $17 minimum wage in CT is raising the cost of everything, and making it very tough for small businesses to stay in business.

Allowing people to make a wage that will feed and house their families is a good thing. Politicians fail to see that the wages they mandate causes a burden on small businesses as their margins are close, and a .50 an hour increase if they have enough employees can cause them to drop  workers or close the doors.

Minimum wage in Maryland is already at $15 per hour, which for most, is still not high enough.

It seems crazy to me to see $17.00 as a minimum wage Gary Frimann CRS, GRI, SRES, ABR, SFR . When I purchased my first home I was making less than one tenth of that and the interest rate was around 20%. I don't have tie for whiners who say that they can not afford a house.
