Reading about the real estate industry to the real estate market to the public’s opinions of real estate agents, there is a lot of doom and gloom. Yet, those individuals who embrace being professional real estate agents are the champions of this market. Many of those agents are here on Active Rain.
What does being a real estate champion look like?
Champion real estate agents are:
- Knowledgeable and are always seeking to increase their knowledge base, to be the best informed and to share that knowledge
- Aware first about their own attitudes, talents and then to the market, to other agents, to local and national news and how such news may impact their clients, customers and their own attitudes respective to their real estate practice
- Responsive from texts, emails, phone calls because these individuals know time is of the essence as well as employing emotional intelligence
- Ethical in all interactions by remembering their fiduciary duties including to protect and promote are to their clients, not to customers, others real estate agents
- Self-Direction by not waiting for something because they are motivated with the dawn of each new day to get moving in the correct direction
In other words, a professional real estate agent KARES (cares) about his or her
- Clients
- Customers
- Communities
- Local real estate market
- Other agents
