I will be getting a new listing soon. It is a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind home, professional office and guest quarters designed by a local architect. The trio of buildings are entwined harmoniously with the natural surroundings. The interior design boasts cherry cabinets, marble floors, top-of-the-line professional appliances, and clear story windows, etc.
My challenge will be to merchandise this unique property and to reach buyers who can both appreciate and afford the near one-million-dollar asking price. In our region, contemporary homes tend to be much less popular than traditional ones- especially new-builds. The "bigger is better" mentality seems to be prevalent. Additionally, it will take a very discerning buyer to appreciate the intrinsic architectural deisgn elements.
What can I do to market this beautiful property effectively? The owners understandably don't want browsers or curiosity seekers to be parading through their home. I am creating "business cards" with a photo of the property and my contact information...for starters.
