I USED to have best friends from Chicago when I lived there. Every year we'd alternate visiting each other after they moved to Indiana, and I moved further up north in Illinois. As long as I lived in IL, we'd still make the trip.

BUT when I moved to TX, I received a Christmas letter sharing all the exciting things they did including driving from Indiana, passing through various states INCLUDING TEXAS to get to Arizonia to see the Cubs in Training Camp. They never stopped to visit. I felt snubbed. I was traded for the Cubbies.
