The Market Said, "NO."
After getting my real estate license to practice, uncertainty for how to navigate the industry in real life, outside the classroom became overwhelming.
At first:
I asked the market to remove my fear.
It said, “No. You must do that by pushing through.”
I asked for an easy-peasy, risk-free, first sales deal.
It said, “No. Value comes from seeing what others might miss.”
I asked to avoid any financial losses or time-wasters.
It said, “No. Setbacks teach due diligence and resilience.”
I asked for an instant pipeline of serious clients.
It said, “No. They're earned by using proven systems.”
I asked for growth without receiving another lesson.
It said, “No. Learn through cycles, it makes you stronger.”
I asked for patience in the slower months.
It said, “No. It’s formed through discipline and good habits.”
I asked for confidence and success.
It said, “No. They are earned, one smart move at a time.”
Finally:
I asked to build real prosperity and the freedom to choose.
The market said, “Now you finally get it.”
I learned to follow the 4-corners of the contract, to be intentional in my methods, that markets are cyclical, constantly evolving and that change is inevitable.
Then it said:
• Keep showing up.
• Keep learning.
• Keep moving forward.
Tenacity rewards those of us who grow into professionals, capable of gaining success through personal/professional development. We persevere and build wealth through effort, learning and one good decision after another.
When the answer is NO, stop asking and start doing. Like I did.
