Ventura Car Show: Lovers and Friends
Classic car lovers of all ages will enjoy this car show! Social Club Ventura shuts down the Downtown Ventura area the Saturday before Valentine's Day. Come and see all makes and models of muscle cars, hot rods, custom classics, buckets, chop-tops, lowriders, and more. Plus, a DJ spins the best of all music. You will hear everything from oldies up to the hits of the 2000s, R & B and funk to classic hip-hop. Additionally, more than 40 vendors showcase their wares along the Downtown streets. You may even hear some live music while you're there.
Registration for participating in the show (ie, classic car owners) has ended. They are full. Sorry, guys. Better luck next time. However, if you are a classic car lover, just show up and enjoy the show.
Ventura Marathon 2026
Is "working on my health" one of your New Year's resolutions? Joining the Ventura Marathon provides great motivation to keep you on track. If you wanted to add marathon running to your list of physical activities, this marathon is actually a good choice. The course is considered relatively easy because of its almost flat nature. And the scenery is second to none. But if a 26.2 mile trek sounds a big daunting, opt for the half-marathon 13.1 mile course instead.
The race takes place on February 22nd. Runners begin their race in Ojai and wind their way down to downtown Ventura. Register online here. They only offer a limited number of spots for both the half and full marathon runs. As soon as those fill up, registration ends. So sign up today!
