Journal Entry for Tuesday, 1/20/2026
The beautiful Texas Flag was taken outside of Subaru where I had my 30,000 mile service check-up. And I'm feeling good.

In case you didn't know, Texas Governor Greg Abbott is confined to a wheelchair. It doesn't stop him from getting around and working hard for the people in Texas. Despite being paralyzed from the waist down, he is supported by his family and faith. While jogging in his 20s, a tree fell on him leaving him confined to being in a wheelchair for life. He claims through that difficult time he learned an invaluable lesson: "Life is defined not by the challenges we face, but how we respond to those challenges."
Recent accomplishments by Governor Greg Abbott:
- The largest school choice program in the nation, empowering Texas parents to decide how and where their kids are educated was passed.
- The Governor delivered a record $50 billion in property tax relief to ease the burden on hardworking families - thank you Governor Abbott!
- He passed laws to secure our Texas border, cracked down on illegal immigration, and defended Texas sovereignty from federal overreach.
- Our Governor of Texas strengthened election integrity and stood firm for religious liberty and the Second Amendment.
Personal Accomplishments for January 2026:
- I completed my yearly annual physical.
- I completed vehicle service requirements.
- I completed my duty for the 2025 IRS.
- I registered for 47 classes for UNT's First Semester.
- 14 appointments are confirmed for February.
- I made winter brighter by buying myself flowers.
