I went to South America in May 2024 on a tour. We went to Brazil, Argentina and Peru, and stayed in touch with quite a few from the tour. Afterall, you are with these people for two weeks solid, you do develop relationships with a few. Especially the single people!
One of which lives in San Francisco, and we follow each other on Facebook pretty closely, as she travels all over the world! She saw I was in SF, and wanted to meet up. OMG, why didn't I think of that before I traveled?
We met up after my application, and spent 5 hours catching up over the last couple of years. SOOO fun! We found out we were born 4 days apart - same year! OH MY, did not know that. She plans to come to Portugal, and cannot wait, we get along really well.
So fun to meet people, and stay in touch from all over the world! The photo was one I took years ago in SF at sunset.
