New company, who dis (part II)

Last year I wrote a post about a move to a new company.  The opportunity at the time presented a lot of great things.  After a year, though, a new opportunity presented itself and the right move for me was to go back to where I spent a decade of my life & career.

As of this week, I'm officially back with MasonMac.  This time, though, my role is simple: Loan Officer.  I haven't focused on originating mortgages and building a pipeline since 2017, when I began a foray into mortgage management.  Management presented unique opportunities and challenges that, while rewarding, are often draining.  And while industry leadership is still a calling, for now at least, my focus is on customers, referral partners, and loans.

And for loans, I can't think of a better place to be - MasonMac offers so much for customers and referral partners, and company resources partners with my 20+ years of experience means a fast, easy, transparent process for customers in need of mortgage financing.

I'm extremely excited for this next chapter and to be confident in being at what I consider the best mortgage company in the US.  I've helped build the company I'm with, and look forward to continuing to grow both the company and myself with this new venture.  I hope you'll join me for the ride!

Congratulations on the move and on the clarity that comes with it.

There is real value in recognizing when a role has run its course and choosing to refocus on the work that energizes you most. Returning to a company where you have deep roots, combined with the perspective gained from leadership, puts you in a strong position to serve clients and partners well.

Wishing you continued success in this next chapter, with a renewed focus on customers, relationships, and well executed loans.

John Meussner as a producing Loan Originator & manager for 15+ years I can completely relate to this statement in your blot:

"Management presented unique opportunities and challenges that, while rewarding, are often draining."

It is a much simpler life as a Loan Originator fully concentrating on your own client base.  Good luck!!!
