I always enjoy participating in the monthly #ActiveRainChallenge. I am grateful that Patricia Feager and Lew Corcoran are hosting this month's challenge. There are so many in the Rain who are worthy of my gratitude, so the most difficult thing for me in entering this challenge is choosing just 4 to talk about, haha. I pray that those left out will not feel slighted and will still know that I love and appreciate them!
I am sure that everyone in the Rain has had a positive experience with Kathy Streib at least once. She is always so nice to everyone and encouraging! If you haven't connected with her in the Rain, you will certainly want to do so because I can't think of anyone nicer to have on your side and help you with how life in the Rain works! I feel that I am nice, but I reach the end of my rope with some people far sooner than she ever will, haha. We both share a love for sports, so we often text message or comment back and forth with each other about our teams and how they are doing. Currently, my team is ranked #1 in the nation, but of course, that could change after we play her Houston Cougars, haha. In fact, since I have scheduled this to post at a future date, I hope that I am not jinxing my team and we lose a game before this goes live, haha. What I love most about her is how caring she is, and she is able to sense when someone is having a bad day and needs someone to talk to. Usually, when we are down in the dumps, merely talking with a friend will help bring us out of it. She has brought me out of the dumps a few times over the years, and I will always treasure her friendship for that and more!!!
