🌟 Who Inspires Me: Margaret Rome 🌟on the Radio and AIÂ
I met Margaret Rome in 2008 at a Rebar Camp in Philadelphia. At first, she didn’t seem like anyone extraordinary — then someone said, “Oh, look, it’s Margaret Rome.” Curious, I introduced myself. She was warm, sweet, and instantly approachable. That first friendly exchange was the start of a connection that continues to inspire me today.
I later found Margaret on ActiveRain, where I learned she hosted a radio talk show. One day, I called in; she answered immediately, introduced me as a top producer in my area, and we had a delightful on-air conversation. That generosity — giving people airtime, attention, and encouragement — is classic Margaret.
During the pandemic, we launched a Tuesday 2 PM EST ActiveRain Zoom group to discuss real estate. What began as a way to stay connected turned into a weekly source of insight and support. Margaret joined many of our Zoom calls and quickly became a guiding presence. Her advice is measured and thoughtful; people seek her counsel because she gives it wisely, not lightly.
What truly amazes me is Margaret’s relationship with technology — especially AI. She’s not just an early adopter; she’s an innovator. At home and at work, she uses AI to streamline tasks, spark creativity, and even plan meals and design her schedule. Her openness to learning and experimenting has motivated me to push my own limits and try new tools in my business and personal life.
Margaret Rome inspires me because she combines warmth with curiosity, wisdom with playfulness, and leadership with humility. I’m grateful for her mentorship, and I hope to follow her example: stay curious, be generous, and use technology to create more beauty and efficiency in everything we do. Thank you, MargaretÂ
