Wow, 18 years! Time does fly, doesn't it?

Good morning, Kathy... happy 18th anniversary. I'm a few years behind you... and like you I had no idea about points... probably for longer than you did... I had amassed over 250,000 points before I understood what they were about.

Gosh, you have just reminded me this is my 20th anniversary of joining The Rain. Like you, I wasn't really aware of points because they didn't really matter. The platform was free back then. 

I don't think any of us had an idea of where it would lead us, but here we are one big family.

The names that you shared, I am certainly familiar with, but from the photo of your incoming class, I don't see any that I have gotten to know, and only one name even rings a bell for me, haha.

Good morning Kathy. I was taking a class for a NAHB designation and it was taught by Steve Hoffacker, no longer active here, but once a consistent blogger. He invited me to join the Rain in 2008 and introduced me to a fellow Rainer, Lou Ludwig. I think it was 2011 when I started visiting the site regularly and long after that that I began to comment on questions and the posts of others. Your list of names of early contributors could be mine as well as those who encouraged further participation. Enjoy your day as we continue to enjoy your posts and participation.

Hello Kathy - congratulations.  Porcelain is particularly ponder-worthy. 

When I joined (way back in 2007) I often marveled at how many agents were hooking up every single day. 

Kathy, Congratulations on 18 years in the RAIN.. Your consistency and contributions over all these years truly help make this place what it is.

I am not even sure when I joined, I will have to go and look, but that is a lot of posts you have read and commented upon.

Kathy, It amazes me how many years we've been in this community.  Literally, we've seen kids go from itty bitty babies all the way to starting college.  A lot of changes in the community, but the key things that make it special have stayed the same.  Key people like yourself make sure the culture continues onward no matter who has their name as site owner.

Kathy, it HAS been a lot of years here in the rain, and I started in 2007, amazing how things have changed.

Kathy it will be 20 years for me in September.  There are a lot of familiar faces in the collages you posted that are no longer around.

Kathy Streib - I always liked the star collage. It was fun to see if I could see my face. Looking back now, I see almost all the old familiar faces. I started in 2010, so I'm behind you. The face of time gone by is still beautiful. 

It's been a journey Kathy Streib - I do not believe most of us knew the potential of what we were getting into (LOL). 

Thanks for the mention. I don't know how I would have even had a Staging business if not for finding this forum and all my stager friends!

12/27/07 was when I joined, same time frame as you.

Congratulations on your anniversary - wow, so much time has passed and just think about all you have learned, and shared with us, since you joined 18 years ago. My 20-year anniversary will be in September around the same time at George Souto's. Like many, I had no clue what I was getting into or the points.
