If You Shenan Once...
Harmless fun can create shared laughter. Friends and family members know that I like to indulge in playful pranks that tend to lighten the mood. If you come to our house, it can be anything from a strategically placed whoopee cushion to a detour in party planning.
Here are some ideas for you:
Unrolling about 20 sheets of toilet paper, then taking a black magic marker to draw a realistic spider as a prank for the next couple of bathroom guests, can bring unbridled terror. The result: Everyone within a mile wide vicinity is treated to a comical display as they drop the roll of toilet paper like it's on fire and hit the door running. Hopefully, fully clothed!

Then there's the prank with a small garter snake while golfing. Everyone in the group knew their friend was deathly afraid of snakes, always putting the car keys inside the gas cap cover on his golf cart. A buddy found & gently placed a small garter snake inside. When he went to get his keys, the snake lunged, he screamed and for 30 seconds, it was pure, primal fear. It's the story that always gets shared again and again!

Breaking the ice at a party can be easily accomplished. Greeting someone with a handshake, as they reach out to make contact, then mid-shake, their hand closes in on a rubber, creepy crawler cockroach with antennae and segmented legs. The look of horror on their face and 'drop it like it's hot' motion is gut splitting. With one handshake, you've managed to make a memorable moment with a friend that lasts forever.

Of course, it's extremely important to know your audience and one thing I've learned in life, if you shanan once...chances are you will Shenanigan!
