Yes we live in a global economy and the internet is an indispensible tool of commerce.  As a Realtor you are trying to find buyers from all over the planet.  The question is how will these buyers find you?  One resource are the search engines.  Below are several steps for getting on the search engines.  Please call us if you would like more details.

Getting on the Search Engines

1.  You must have a web site.  Kind of self-explanitory.  A web site is your portal to the internet.  Please call us if you need assistance setting up a web site.

2.  Understanding Keywords.  When you do a search on Google, you are actually typing in keywords.  These keywords must show up in various places on your web site.  Here are some of the places.

A.  Web Name.  Your web name should have keywords in it. For example, www.MiamiBeachCondos.com  This way if someone does a search for Miami Beach Condos you will show up.

B.  Title of Your Web Pages.  You can name every page on your web site.  Make sure there are keywords in the title.  For example, "Call Maria Gonzalez for Miami Beach Condos"

C.  Keywords in the text of your pages.  The search engines read every word on your web pages.  You need to weave in keywords into the text.  For example, "On this page you will find a complete list of Miami Beach Condos that are available for sale or rent."

D.  Meta Tags.  The meta tags is a behind-the-scenes programming page that has keywords in it.  The search engines read this page.  Make sure you have 30-40 keywords in your meta tags.
