Ok, maybe Charlotte is the Queen City, but Nina could be the Queen of Charlotte!
Many years ago, when Nina joined, I started following her and reading all of her blogs. She did market reports and how they should be written, with lots of valuable information, and I altered mine later to include just as much info. The info was available through our MLS, just needed Nina's lead! She does the cutest posts with the Annual Day of.... celebrating kitties, chocolate, or coffee. She should post more photos of Taj and Bingo, though.
After years of following her and reading posts, I wanted to go back to Nashville and see my 3rd-grade house (Sept. 2019), as I remembered the address. While I was there, I went up to visit Debbie Reynolds, then to Asheville, and eventually Charlotte. Nina so graciously let me stay with her, and we went to have coffee, went shopping, and she even let me tag along to a client's appointment. I LOVED THAT. She is definitely the professional! On our shopping trip, we bought matching black shirts with kitties on them (although I did not get a photo of that)! Chris, Nina, and I went to one of their favorite restaurants one night - so fun.
Nina has sent me some very cute kitty things over the years, and I will cherish all of them, especially the umbrella with kitties, which I will definitely utilize during the rainy winter months in Portugal.
Nina used to have family in Summit County, so she came out to Denver first, and we went to a Mexican restaurant, and she loved their tacos. It is funny when you have read someone's posts for years, when you finally meet face-to-face, it isn't awkward, it is just friends catching up! She was just as lovely in person as she has been on the phone many times!
I wish I could go back and visit one more time, but there won't be time between selling and moving. BUT, when I come back --- that could work! I may even live in Charlotte when I come back, you never know.
This is my first entry for February's challenge hosted by Patricia Feager and Lew Corcoran
