If you're the outdoorsy type, and even if you're not, you owe it to yourself to visit some (or all) of the parks and trails in Addison, Texas.
The destination parks are where large events are held, like KaboomTown and Oktoberfest in Addison Circle Park, and performance events at the amphitheater in Vitruvian Park.
Urban and neighborhood parks are sprinkled throughout the town, some in the higher density areas, some nestled off the beaten track pockets of homes.
For animal lovers, there are also fenced dog parks, some with separate areas for large and small canines.
And if anyone tells you to "go take a hike" there are opportunities on Addison trails for that, too!
