I braved traffic and the cold this morning to witness the Buddhist monks walking for peace in Annapolis, MD. It was the quiet hope so many of us needed. It was truly inspiring to see in person and to be a small part of something so tremendously meaningful.
The Venerable Monks Walk for Peace
"We walked together - people from different cultures, traditions, faiths, and walks of life - all moving as one river of peace through our nation's capital. This is what it looks like when we choose unity over division, love over fear, and peace over conflict. When we can bring peace to our daily lives, that is when we truly walk for peace together.
May we bring peace, mindfulness, loving-kindness, compassion, and unity into our lives, nd may we radiate it to everyone around us and to the whole world.
Thank you for walking with us. Together, we are peace. May you and all beings be well, happy, and at peace." https://www.facebook.com/walkforpeaceusa
