City Launches New Solar Permit Program SolarAPP+
The City has launched a new program that allows licensed contractors to apply for permits for standard residential rooftop solar and energy storage systems through SolarAPP+, an automated online permitting platform.
Using SolarAPP+ is optional, and standard applications may still be submitted through the City’s Online Permitting Portal. To apply through SolarAPP+, applicants must create a SolarAPP+ account. Instructions and details on how to create an account can be found at https://gburg.md/solar.
