That is needed information for all.  Buyers and sellers.  Had been told by an appraiser several years ago that solar panels don't really add to the value.  My brother works as a supervisor for a big city utility company.  He told me that the mounts for solar panels in this area aren't great for air flow which affects the roof and the solar panels.  Plus what happens if one has a hail storm?  Who pays for the solar panel removal and reinstall?   Have had sellers think they added a lot of value to the home --they never listed as they thought their house was worth $150k higher than it was so they couldn't get the equity they needed to move.
