The Good, the Bad and The Ugly...AI Changes Constantly

I have frequently stated and written that AI is evolving and evolving QUICKLY.  Every platform changes quickly and it can be difficult to stay on top of everythilng so that you can make wise decisions on which platforms to utilize and how to utilize them.

I frequently suggest that users stay with a particular platform and become comfortable with it,  Yes, another platform may be better at what you need or want but there will be a learning curve.

It is best to rememver what I havce written about in the past. There is a HUGE difference between Generative AI and Agentic.  Generative is utilized to create and Agentic is utilized to build whatever you created. This is very general but a good guide.

One of the issues regarding changes is that the frequency of talent migration within companies is accelerating. In the past week, both xAI and Anthropic lost key personnel. This will continue so it is best not to worry about it!! You cannot change this or predict this.  The succss or failure of any platform is rarely based upon the talents of only a handful of talent...and thereis a pipeline of new, upand coming talent!

This is a sensible and steady approach to AI adoption. Chasing every new platform can create more confusion than progress, especially when the learning curve distracts from actual use and results.

Your distinction between generative and agentic AI is a helpful framework. Understanding whether a tool is meant to create or to execute clarifies expectations and reduces misuse. The reminder about talent migration is also important. Platforms evolve through systems and teams, not just a few individuals. Staying focused on fundamentals and thoughtful implementation is often the wiser path than reacting to every headline.
