Very special Santa Claus

He is tall, beautifully painted, and could fit in my house  all during the year.  He would not be sent upstairs with the other decorations waiting till next December.

The painter was able to order the ceramic items and finish the item in her own style.  Look at the finish work on Santa.  Makes me wonder how much she would have been able to do.  (Research work required here.)  She, Janell Payne, lived in a small country home in McRae, AR with land, chickens and a special addition to the house for her art work which she was able to practice until her 90's.  She taught the craft also. Perhaps someone can tell us more about the craft and the artist.

Help us out, Searcy Sleuths.  McRae is just a few short miles from Searcy!

How fun, Barbara. Many years ago I stuck some beautiful artificial poinsettias into a vase with other flowers in my dining room for the Christmas season. And it looked so beautiful, I've never taken them out.

Nina, you understand!  This Santa is really special but I did not get it.  I hope to find out more about it.

With the price tag hanging off his head, he may go on forever but is still negotiable.

I guess I need to revisit the booth.  Perhaps he is reduced now.

The mold for this 50 Buck St. Nick can be purchased here for $420!

Here's what can be done with a side by side painted one.

Don, you can find anything.  If you teamed up with my daughter, you two could make AI look like kid's work!

I have to confess I used AI somewhat to find this info. I used the picture feature in Google to search for info on the santa and found the mold source.
