This will be my fourth entry to the February challenge cohosted by Patricia Feager and Lew Corcoran. Thank you for cohosting the challenge.
I have had the opportunity to read several entries and all provide new insight about those highlighted. Like many I was having a hard time choosing who to post about as so many over the years have caused me to learn and think about things. I choose an earlier entry to name some of those people and acknowledge their contribution.
This morning I read a post from Debe Maxwell, CRS and commented on it. It started me thinking about his entry. I have always cherished quiet time to reflect and ponder but not as seriously as Michael Jacobs. When I joined Active Rain and finally became active one of the first people I followed was Michael. His posts always caught my attention and made my pondering time more productive. Many time his posts caused me to question my previous thoughts, ponder further, and change my thinking.
Sometimes here in the Rain I fond myself reading posts and asking myself "what would Michael likely think about this?". It can cause me to change my mind or reinforce my thoughts. Either way, a good result. Even Michale's most recent post to this writing clicked the switch for further pondering
As things go here in the Rain, my friend from Gilbert Arizona, Brian England has met with Michael personally over the years and I'll admit to being a bit jealous. Then again Brian has met a lot of members on the west coast.
Back to Michael. May he continue to offer his insights here for the foreseeable future. Maybe someday we can met in person and take the time to discuss the power of pondering. In the meantime we can do so here in the Rain.
As I conclude I leave with this.
