Informed Delivery is a free USPS service that provides mail preview images and package status updates. Notifications arrive via daily email or are accessible on the dashboard from your phone, computer, or mobile app.

The service offers features designed to make it easier to track and receive packages.

Start your mornings with a preview of your day's USPS mail and packages with Informed Delivery notifications:

  • Get Daily Digest emails that preview your mail and packages scheduled to arrive soon.
  • See images of your incoming letter-sized mail (grayscale, address side only).
  • Track and manage your packages in one convenient place.

I enjoy using the service. I also appreciate the USPS website, where I can place a hold on my mail if I'm going on vacation, reschedule a delivery, or track a package. If you frequently ship packages, it’s an excellent alternative to other third-party services.

Hi Kelly,
Like Nina, I've had this service for years. It's great. When I go away during the winter, my neighbor watches my house and picks up my mail. I can tell them if I need anything forwarded to me.

I enjoy informed delivery, although it isn't always the most reliable thing, haha.  I enjoy being able to see what should be coming in the mail.
