Remembering Carole Provenzale – A Beautiful Energy Still Felt
Every once in a while, I think about someone from our ActiveRain family who truly made an impression, and today my thoughts are about Carole Provenzale. Many of you remember Carole as one of the early voices on ActiveRain, sharing insights about Feng Shui and the energy of a home.
She had a warm spirit, a generous heart, and a way of explaining things that made you stop and think about the spaces we live and work in.
Carole didn’t originally set out to become a Feng Shui consultant. As I remember the story, her discovery of Feng Shui happened almost by chance during a trip out west.

What began as curiosity quickly turned into a passion. She studied deeply, learned the principles, and soon realized that the way a home is arranged, the flow, the light, and the placement of things can affect how people feel and even how they live their lives.
Feng Shui was new to me, but the idea struck a chord with those of us in real estate who see firsthand how a home’s atmosphere matters.
Carole generously shared what she learned with others, including her daughter, Laura Cerrano, who today continues her mother's work.

Laura carries that same positive spirit forward, and I might add that she is one of the most supportive people on ActiveRain. In fact, Laura comments on many of my blogs almost daily and always adds thoughtful insights.
One of my favorite memories is when Laura came to Baltimore to be a guest on my “All About Real Estate” radio show. It was a wonderful conversation about Feng Shui and how energy and environment can influence a home.

Carole may no longer be with us, but her influence continues through Laura and through the many people she inspired. In our ActiveRain community, we remember her warmly and with gratitude.

Some people leave behind more than memories — they leave behind good energy. Carole Provenzale was one of those people.
