Saturday Soundness ~ Linen & Healing Frequency

I've written before about the various frequencies that can provide us with amazing healing benefits, but many have not heard about the medicinal benefits of linen. So why is this important? Our bodies have a vibrational frequency between 62 and 68 Hz. When we are healthy, our frequency remains in this range. When we are ill, it makes sense that our frequency (energy level) diminishes.

What is so fascinating about linen is that it comes from flax fibers that are woven. They contain a very unique crystalline structure. This structure allows linen to provide a natural flow of energy (frequency) through the human body. Because of this, linen resonates with our bodies and provides an excellent environment for well-being and healing properties.

Synthetic fabrics actually disrupt the electrical frequency of the body. Our heart and our brain are highly electrical and are evidenced by the tests for these organs. We use an EEG for the brain and an EKG for heart testing. Therefore, it is obvious how important good electrical flow is to the body.

Science has proven that linen fabrics provide the body with exceptional healing properties.

Anti-microbial Benefits - Linen sheets were once the choice for hospitals because of the fact that this fabric helps to destroy bacteria and fungi. In some Japanese studies, it was proven that linen sheets helped to prevent bedsores in bedridden patients.

Anti-allergen Benefits - Pure linen fabrics do not irritate the skin or cause allergic discomfort. Synthetic fabrics don't provide us with any medicinal benefits, and sadly, most of the fabrics that we wear today are from synthetic blends. Synthetic blends are made from plastics that emit toxins and bind with our sweat, and are then absorbed back into our bodies. Yuck!

Radiation Shielding - As we all know, we are exposed to frequency waves that are not compatible with the human body. From our cell phones, radio towers, microwaves, and even LED lighting, we are exposed to frequencies that disrupt our bodies at a cellular level. Linen has been found to deflect these frequencies because of the crystalline structure of the flax. Fascinating!

Improved Sleep - Sleeping on linen sheets and or wearing linen bedclothes can improve the quality of sleep. We know that sleep is better when our bodies can wick moisture better and provide a barrier to stave off the unhealthy frequencies that can disrupt sleep.

I find this information so interesting. I have purchased pure linen sheets and enjoy sleeping on them. Finding 100% pure linen sheets takes a little work, but I found several good sources on Etsy. I have always loved wearing linen, even before I understood the medicinal benefits. Wrinkles and all, linen is a beautiful fabric, and who would have known how this incredible fabric is good for us!

I have never heard of fabric having sound.  Very interesting.  Thank you for sharing this with us!

It's not necessarily sound but rather a vibrational frequency. As Einstein said, "everything has frequency". Thank you for stopping by.

Hi Paula- when I think of linen, I remember all of the wrinkles in the linen outfits I wore for work. LOL

Those of us in Texas can appreciate wearing linen almost year-round.

Paula, this is a fascinating perspective on how materials around us may influence comfort and well-being. Linen has certainly been valued for centuries for its breathability and durability, so it is interesting to see the discussion around its potential health-related benefits as well.

Many people already appreciate linen for practical reasons such as temperature control and moisture wicking, especially in bedding. Those qualities alone can make a noticeable difference in sleep comfort.

Your post is a good reminder that the materials we surround ourselves with, from clothing to bedding, can influence how we feel day to day. It is always interesting to see how traditional materials like flax-based linen continue to attract attention for both comfort and wellness.

Gwen, it really is fascinating. There are many biblical references to this fabric as well. It has been around for a very long time.

I have been trying to change out all of my fabrics for either linen or wool.  It's so difficult to find, though, and polyester is way too common these days.

Take a look at the Etsy site. There are many options for finding good, quality linen on that site.

Hi Paula,

I find this very interesting. I have heard about the comfort and breathability benefits of linen, but I have never heard it described in terms of supporting the natural electrical flow of the human body.

Thank you for sharing this. It is one of those ideas that makes you pause and think a little differently about something as simple as the sheets we sleep on. I need to pay more attention to the sheets I buy in the future.

I have a grounding pad at home that Kathy Streib recommended to me last year when I was ill. I need to start using it again when I get home.

Carol, there are so many amazing things that we are discovering. It all makes so much sense, too!

We've had linen sheets for so many years and love them. And I love the linen blouses I have......so they're wrinkled - who cares!  Gary also recently bought a 'grounding' sheet which is interesting.
