One of the things I value most about being a Realtor in Central Texas is the opportunity to give back to the communities where we live and work.
I donate a portion of my earned income from real estate transactions to charity, and my clients have the opportunity to choose the organization they would like the donation to support. I also encourage clients to match the donation if they wish so we can make an even bigger impact together.
As part of this effort, I will be highlighting a number of local charities that serve Bastrop County, Fayette County, and surrounding communities.
Today I would like to recognize two organizations helping our neighbors in Fayette County.
The AMEN Food Pantry in La Grange provides food assistance to families throughout the area. Recently I had the opportunity to donate 70 pounds of beef to the pantry to support their efforts.

Another important resource is the Central Texas Food Bank Mobile Pantry, which brings food directly into rural communities. One of these food distribution trucks regularly visits Fayetteville.

Supporting local organizations like these is one way we can strengthen our communities while helping our neighbors in need.
