Friday the 13th: Panic for Some, Lucky for Me

Well… it’s Friday the 13th again.

You know the day. The one where perfectly reasonable adults suddenly start acting like the universe is one black cat away from complete chaos.

People will be:

Avoiding ladders🪜.
Side-eyeing every black cat 🐈‍⬛they see
Refusing to make big decisions.
Blaming anything remotely inconvenient on “Friday the 13th.”
- Coffee spills? Friday the 13th!
- Printer jams? Obviously Friday the 13th!
- Phone battery dies? Friday the 13th!
- Wi-Fi slows down? Definitely Friday the 13th!

Meanwhile… 13 has always been my lucky number🎲!

So while some people are cautiously navigating the day like they’re in a horror movie, I’ll be going about my Friday like normal… possibly expecting a little extra luck🍀 thrown in for good measure.

But don’t worry—I completely understand if the rest of the world wants to proceed with caution today.

If you trip over the dog, forget your password, spill lunch on your shirt, or your meeting that “could have been an email” lasts an hour…

I had to laugh today my handman was coming to work on my exterior lighting today. He left his wallet at home and went back to get it. Went to Lowe's to get some clear caulking for my sink and locked his keys in a truck! He isn't superstitious...he says these things always happens to hm and he just rolls with it! My daughter put her new listing on the market that I just posted and didn't even consider not putting it on Friday the 13th!

@Nina Friday the 13th is my lucky day and favorite number if I were to pick one, first number I ever wore in sports when I was 7, met my wife on a Friday the 13th 38 years ago, and we get to not only celebrate our anniversary every year, but twice a year (most years anyway) we get to celebrate our special day, and its always on a Friday, how can you not like that!
