Knock Knock...anyone home?

Is William Dead? Maybe/maybe not. Either way he is not dead in my mind. It is easy for me to close my eyes  and see his smile as well as hear his laugh.

UPDATE: AR blogger Jeffrey DiMuria 321.223.6253 Waves Realty says he knows that William Feela is alive and well.

For two full days now I have been trying to track Bill down, even with the wonders of the internet I have no answer.

This reblogg serves several puposes. #1, if William Feela is still alive I'd love to hear from him. #2) I wanted to reblogg a post from a friend (dead or alive Bill is still my friend). #3) This is my entry into Patricia Feager 's and Lew Corcoran 's March 2026 challenge, Celebrating AR Lives Lost. If Bill is still alive he has been dead to Active Rain for 6 years and as you read his last post you can see it had been a year between this post and the previous one making a total of a 7 year absence.

Furthermore: Look at the comments on Bill's last posts, you will see others who have disappeared from Active Rain. Their comments also made me smile.

Bill was just one of many of my friends from Active Rain that I had not met BUT Bill and I had an established friendship beyond our bloggs. Like Bill I was a Minnesota boy and born not all that far from his home. We shared jokes and family concerns over the phone. One time I posted a joke about Bill, James Drey, and myself. After posting the joke I called both of them to see if it was okay with them (it's easier to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission) and they both laughed and said they loved the joke. That is the kind of people both Bill and James were.

One more note about my search for Bill: I called the City of North Woods and talked to two City Officials in an effort for more information. Regretfully both were new and did not know him. His business is no longer, they could not find a forewarding address, and checking official records they could not find an obituary either. I'm hoping Bill is living the good life in AZ or FL ... anyone know?
