Experience Downtown Eatonton- Shops staying open late (8:00p.m.) so you can shop and have dinner
One of the highlights of the month is “An Evening in Eatonton” on March 26. This popular downtown event invites locals and visitors to stroll through historic Eatonton while enjoying extended shopping hours, live entertainment, and delicious food from local restaurants and vendors. Downtown shops stay open late, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere for families and friends to gather. You can pick up a punch card and get a punch for every $15 purchase and fill up your punch card and turn it in for a drawing of a great basket filled with items from downtown.
Also happening that evening is the Artisans Village “BIG Little Project” Selection Reception at Barrel 118. This art reception features local artists and showcases creative works on small panels. It’s a wonderful opportunity to support local talent while experiencing the vibrant arts community growing in Eatonton.
Earlier in the week, the Business Education Expo at the Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce brings together entrepreneurs, business leaders, and community members interested in learning more about local opportunities and networking with other professionals.

One of the biggest regional events is the Georgia Banana Pudding Festival on March 28 at Council Farms near Milledgeville. This fun and unique festival celebrates one of the South’s favorite desserts. Guests can enjoy banana pudding tastings, live music, food vendors, family activities, and plenty of sweet treats. I am so sad I will not be attending this... but my grandsons have quarter-final soccer games the same day so that is where I will be while missing out of the antique tractor show and all the nana puddin' tastings.
