Friday Flags: A New Spot in Watertown CT

We were driving into Watertown CT this past week and at an intersection where a new medical office building was being completed, I noticed an island with a new addition. I just had to stop.

Once I parked, I had to find the right angle as there was quite a maze of wires that prevented a real good shot.

As I am oft heard to say, when taking a shot of our flag, there are no bad ones, just some better than others.

Hopefully, on a bright sunny day, it will cooperate with me again.

Good morning Ed. Once again you captured old glory flying high, proud and strong against the wind. Keep them coming. Enjoy your day.

Good Friday morning, Ed... nothing "wrong" with this picture. I like it. And as you said, there are no "bad" pictures of Old Glory.

Enjoyed this. There is something meaningful about noticing the small additions to a town’s landscape, especially when it involves our flag. Your willingness to stop, look for the right angle, and capture the moment says a lot about how connected you are to your community.

I also like how you acknowledge the real world challenges of photography. Wires, construction, timing, light. Those details make the post feel authentic and relatable. It reminds readers that great local content does not have to be perfect. It just has to be observed and shared.

Posts like this quietly build familiarity and trust. They show you are out in the market, paying attention to growth, change, and the area's character. That kind of consistent presence keeps you top of mind when real estate conversations begin.

Hi Ed
I almost stopped to take a picture of a flag the other day, so I could send it to you. But there was too much traffic to do so safely. I always appreciate your Friday flags.

Ed, I think your flag shot turned out well, and can see the maze of power lines.

I hope that bright sunny days are headed your way, but the flag still looks good, even though the sky in your photo does not, haha.
