The first quarter of 2026 didn’t just fly by… it spun by in a whirlwind of change, challenge, and a whole lot of adapting.
Between new disclosures rolling out left and right, major industry shifts, and the unexpected timing of big news, it felt like we were all learning to pivot in real time. Add in a personal chapter for me, spending January and much of February in Houston at MD Anderson, it’s safe to say this year started with a different kind of focus.
Then came the headline moment: Compass officially completed its acquisition of Anywhere Real Estate on January 9, 2026, sooner than many of us anticipated. This brought together iconic brands like Coldwell Banker, Sotheby's International Realty, Century 21, and Corcoran under one umbrella, forming the largest real estate network in the world, 340,000 agents strong.
With change comes decisions, some agents chose new paths, others leaned in. And alongside it all, AI continues to reshape how we do business, adding another layer of growth and learning to our day-to-day.
So yes… it’s no surprise that our 2025 office awards took a back seat for a bit.
But here’s the good news, celebrations are still happening! Sometimes a little delayed, but just as meaningful.

I’m incredibly honored and grateful to share that my 2025 production earned me a place in the International President’s Circle. It’s a milestone I’m proud of, especially in a year that asked all of us to stretch, adjust, and stay grounded.
And what better way to celebrate than together, at a long-awaited Awards Gala at Omni Barton Creek Resort this May. A little late? Maybe. Worth it? Absolutely.
Through it all, one thing hasn’t changed.
As agents, we’re entrusted with guiding families through some of life’s biggest decisions. We navigate emotions, solve problems behind the scenes, and often protect our clients from pitfalls they may never even see. Our integrity is our foundation, and our reputation is everything.
This first quarter reminded me to stay rooted in what matters most, my clients, my business principles, and my health, no matter how strong the winds of change may blow.
Here’s to staying steady… and still finding time to celebrate along the way.
