Yes We Can Still Be Surprised!

By
Real Estate Agent with Dirt Road Real Estate SA676002000

One of the primary reasons I love selling dirt is I don’t have to work with or deal with lenders. Vacant land sales are usually cash and sometimes owner carry.

Of the two houses I have listed, the house in Golden Valley, AZ is now under contract. The particular national lender for this house has in the past presented some challenges.  So I was already mentally (negatively) prepared for some challenges.

Imagine my surprise when I received the AZ Loan Status Update an entire day early WOW! The lending officer also presented some additional timelines specific to underwriting approval of the loan. Another surprise!

Boy, was I impressed by the timeliness and professionalism of this lending officer. I actually wrote out a thank you card that I am putting into today’s mail.

Yes we still can be surprised! And better yet, our past negative experiences can be flipped to positive ones.

P.S. Please consider checking out my Facebook business page, The Grit and Gratitude Agent that will focus on the Dirt Roads in Mohave County as well local real estate, lots of dirt or vacant land parcels as some of the local attractions.

That would have been a highly appreciated message to receive and early too. That is a lender that should do well for getting lands approved.

I don't know if this lender does land. I was very appreciative of her responsiveness.

Good morning, Leanne. Most of my sales have a loan involved and I've found that more lenders these days are doing a good job of keeping us informed of a loan's progress. I suspect it's because they are scrambling for business these days.

As most of my sales are dirt, I have had a few sold residential properties. I have a couple of favorite lenders, but the buyer has his or her own choices. This particular lender disappointed me in the past, but this new officer is right on the money. Pardon the pun.
